The Business Application Manager will oversee and manage the development, implementation, and support of key business applications, ensuring seamless operation and integration across systems. The role requires deep technical expertise in ERP systems, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Xpedeon, Tactive, and other software tools, combined with strong leadership and project management skills. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders to align application functionality with organizational goals and ensure efficient system performance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Application Management:

• Oversee the design, development, and support of enterprise business applications including ERP, Oracle EBS, Xpedeon, Tactive, etc.
• Ensure the integration of various business applications, improving workflow efficiency.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new applications or upgrades to meet evolving business needs.

·  Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical oversight and direction for projects involving .NET, SQL, MySQL, C, C++, Python, Oracle EBS, and other development tools.
• Coordinate with development teams for system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure data integrity and seamless interfacing between databases (SQL, MySQL) and applications.

·  Project Management:

• Lead business application projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Apply project management best practices (PMP certification is mandatory) to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare project plans, define timelines, allocate resources, and track project milestones.

·  Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with department heads, users, and external vendors to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and user adoption.

·  System Integration & Optimization:

• Implement process improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
• Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Develop and manage system documentation, training materials, and user manuals.

·  Risk & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulations in all system implementations.
• Identify potential risks and implement risk mitigation strategies for application development and deployment.
• Perform regular audits and system performance reviews.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

·  Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

·  Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in managing business applications, ERP systems, and IT projects.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Xpedon, Tactive).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP,.NET, SQL, MySQL, C, C++, Python, and similar technical tools.
• Construction and Engineering Domain Experience is added advantage

·  Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is added advantage.
