Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering.
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas related Projects.
Salary Range: RO. 250 – 300/- Fixed Salary (shall be eligible only for OXY certified OT, if any and not eligible for regular OT)
Leave Cycle: 30 days paid leave on completion of 12 months continuous service.
Responsibilities:-

• High voltage technicians are responsible for installing and maintaining electrical equipment that operates at high voltages. This includes transformers, power lines, circuit breakers, and other equipment used to transmit electricity over long distances or between different points in a single building.
• High voltage technicians must be well versed in the principles of electricity and how it works. They also need to know how to properly install and maintain all types of electrical equipment—including low-voltage wiring as well as high-voltage equipment.
• High voltage technicians have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
  • The person shall complete HSE induction, H2s induction course, CPR & First Aid training courses.
  • The person shall possess a Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering.
  • The person shall complete the Oxy Permit to work training and possess a valid CEP certificate.
  • The person shall possess a valid Arc Flash Safety training certificate.
  • The person shall thoroughly understand the principle and procedure for LO/TO operations.
  • The person shall have good knowledge in HV works including switching and operational practices. He shall demonstrate a positive emphasis with the team members to accomplish the job in a safe manner.
  • The person shall effectively communicate with the team in English.
  • The person shall have a minimum of 5 Years’ experience in systems and associated switchgear in 33KV /11KV / 6.6KV /3.3KV /0.415KV rated equipment’s.
  • Such experience shall include the following activities but not limited to:
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on 415 Switchboard & Air circuit breakers.
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance of Power and distribution transformers, AB switches, Auto recloser breakers.
    • 11KV,6.6KV,3.3KV Circuit Breaker operation and maintenance works including trouble shooting with control circuit drawings.
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on 3.3KV& 6.6KV water Injection pump starter panel.
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on 33KV Outdoor Circuit Breaker/Auto Recloser.
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on AC & DC UPS systems including batteries.
    • Maintenance of Battery chargers & Battery Banks including battery charging and discharge tests.
    • Maintenance of HV&LV motors.
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on HV&LV starter panels.
    • Maintenance and troubleshooting on AMF panels, diesel generators.
    • 33KV Air Breaker switch operation and alignment works.
    • Able to carry out Earth resistance measurement.
    • Able to carry out harmonic measurements.
    • The person shall have the ability to identify the components used in HV maintenance works.
