MEP Supervisor

Job Summary:

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a construction site or within a facility. The role ensures that all MEP works are carried out according to specifications, standards, and project timelines, while coordinating between multiple teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of MEP subcontractors and in-house teams.
• Review MEP drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and design standards.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks for all MEP works.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues on-site.
• Maintain daily reports and documentation of site activities and progress.
• Ensure that all work complies with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 8+years of experience in a supervisory MEP role in construction or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures.

Preferred:

• Certification in MEP or building services.
• Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
