Position -Engineer- Static Plant (Asphalt / Crusher)

QUALIFICATION -Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical /Electronic Engineering

Experience (in Years):  5 – 8 years in Plant operations, maintenance and management

JOB CONTENT (state in brief)

The Plant Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of an Asphalt /Cruhser production facility. This role ensures the plant runs efficiently, meets production targets, and adheres to safety and environmental regulations. The engineer will also manage personnel, optimize processes, and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high-quality asphalt production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

Responsible for timely production and supply as per specification applicable for individual projects

Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth production and compliance with standards.

Identify areas of efficiency improvement and implement cost effective solutions

Financial

Preparation of Daily Reports / Area balance sheet /Monthly MIS

Operational

Trouble shooting

Develop and implement maintenance schedules, diagnose equipment issues, and coordinate repairs.

Monitor Asphalt mix quality and ensure adherence to specifications

Co-ordination with Project Manager /Site Engineers/QA& QC Engineers at site towards production and supply of material

Ensure proper records of Receipt /Production / Despatch

Comply with QA/QC/HSE procedures and plan and maintain records

Ensure materials are received from approved source and maintaining records of receipts and issues.

People Management

Ensure crew is available at site on time and monitor the performance of crew

Monitoring the attendance

Relevant training for operation and maintenance

Ensure safe working environment

Other Responsibilities

Hands on experience in Dismantling, Erection and Commissioning of Static Plants
