QC Inspectors Electrical/ Instrumentation - 

Qualification & experience:

1. Shall be a Graduate/Diploma Engineer in relevant discipline.

2. Shall have a minimum of 8 years of quality control and inspection experience in relevant discipline in EPCC projects.

3. Shall have experience in Hazardous Area & Classified Zones installation & testing/Inspections.

4. Shall be familiar with relevant material, Testing & construction/works relevant ATEX/IEC/BS/ISO codes used in the respective disciplines.

5. For instrumentation QCI: The experience shall include electronic and pneumatic equipment including analogue and digital control systems, relay based and solid state logic systems, transmitters, control valves and accessories.

6. For instrumentation QCI: Shall be thoroughly familiar with instrument construction materials & construction methods, testing of instrumentation and installations, international codes and standards for instrumentation design, construction and testing of facilities and works.

7. For Electrical QCI : Certification on COMPEX, ATEX or equivalent on EX equipment installations, inspection & maintenance shall have added advantage

8. For Electrical QCI : Shall be familiar with electrical construction materials & construction methods, testing of electrical equipments and installations, HV/LV system installation/ testing/ commissioning, installation testing of OHL lines, international codes and standards for electrical design, construction and testing of facilities and works.

9. Knowledge and experience with High voltage equipment switching and maintenance.

10. Experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems

Duties & Responsibilities (minimum)

1. Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP /ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other Project/contract documents.

2. Prepares and signoff applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.

3. Carry out the verification of the Ex Components for vendor packages as per Ex register & update Register

4. Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.

5. Maintaining of Quality records && assists in preparation of Hand over package/ dossiers.

6. Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents such as Drawings, Specifications and Standards.

7. Witness procedures, tests and certify the results as per approved QCP/ITP

8. Report Quality activities, monitor performance indicators related respective discipline

9. Liaison with Client representatives/ Vendor representatives on matters related to Quality.

10. Assists in Auditing - internal and external, and follow up of Corrective Actions (internal & external).

11. Provide sufficient feed back to Lead Quality Engineer on the day to day quality issues
