Sr QA Engineer (Oil & Gas EPCC projects) - Minimum requirements:

Qualification & experience:

1. Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Metallurgical/ Production/equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
2. Lead Assessor ISO 9001: 2015 / equivalent QMS (IRCA Registered/ RABQSA or equivalent QMS).

3. Minimum of 12 years of relevant EPCC experience in onshore Refinery/Petroleum, Oil & gas facility/Pipeline projects, including live installations. Out of this, minimum 3 years of experience in similar position(s) in EPCC projects (preferably worked in middle East region for 8 years)

4. Adequate years of management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of quality management system in accordance with applicable international standard.

5. Shall have management skills & ability to lead various disciplines & co ordinate with internal/ external stake holders.

6. Shall have sound knowledge in quality management requirements for projects with design / engineering, procurement, construction, inspection/testing and commissioning phases.

7. Preferably be familiar with practices like Flawless Project Delivery, RFT, Lean management and Technical Integrity Verifications etc.

Duties & Responsibilities (minimum)

1. Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revision and updating of the Project specific Contract Quality Plan.

2. Development, preparation, implementation and monitoring of all Contract Specific Procedures and Work Instructions, Quality Control Plans (QCP/ITP).

3. Responsible for advising, guiding and motivating project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters.

4. Maintain/Update Project QMS documentation

5. Review and Monitoring Sub-Contractor’s Quality Systems and quality performance.

6. Manage Project Quality records, acceptance certificates, unit/area completion certificates & preparation of Hand over package/ dossiers.

7. Reporting Quality Assurance activities, monitor Quality Objectives & performance indicators.

8. Identify and communicate lessons learned though the programme lifecycle

9. Liaison with Client representatives on matters related to Quality.

10. Auditing - internal and external, and follow up of Corrective Actions (internal & external).

11. Overall control, supervision and implementation of Contract quality and technical requirements; resolution of quality problems.

12. Review of Vendor’s quality documents & track the approval status.
