Loading Supervisors

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mining loading operations and ensure activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate the operation of excavators, wheel loaders, shovels, and other loading equipment.
• Allocate operators and equipment according to daily production requirements.
• Coordinate with Haulage/Dispatch Supervisors to maintain continuous and efficient truck loading.
• Monitor loading cycles, equipment utilization, productivity, and material movement.
• Ensure loading operations meet daily and monthly production targets.
• Monitor loading areas, stockpiles, benches, and working faces for safe operating conditions.
• Ensure correct material is loaded and transported according to operational requirements.
• Minimize truck waiting time and equipment idle time through effective coordination.
• Conduct regular inspections of loading areas and identify unsafe conditions or operational issues.
• Ensure operators follow approved operating procedures, traffic management plans, and site safety rules.
• Report equipment breakdowns, operational delays, incidents, and safety concerns to the concerned department.
• Coordinate with Maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and breakdown requirements.
• Monitor fuel consumption and equipment operating hours where applicable.
• Maintain daily production, equipment, manpower, and shift reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift briefings as required.
• Supervise and guide loading equipment operators and ensure proper work discipline.
• Train and coach operators on safe and efficient loading practices.
• Investigate operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, mining regulations, HSE standards, and site procedures.
• Perform other duties related to mining operations as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work in a mining site and remote location.
• Willingness to work on rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, and physically demanding mining environments.
• Strict adherence to site safety and PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 12th.
• Minimum with at least 2–3 years experience in mining/construction operations.
• Experience in open-pit mining/loading operations is highly preferred.
• Experience working in remote mining sites.

• Basic reporting and documentation
• MS Office / Excel skills

• Ability to work in shifts and challenging site conditions
