AC TECHNICIAN | 10 NOS

ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems at construction sites, commercial buildings, and company facilities. Ensures all HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Company standards and HSE regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

∙ Install, inspect, maintain, and repair split, window, package, VRF/VRV, and central air conditioning systems
∙ Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment and perform corrective maintenance
∙ Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning filters, coils, condensers, evaporators, and duct systems
∙ Check refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and carry out refrigerant charging and recovery in accordance with environmental regulations
∙ Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
∙ Test thermostats, compressors, motors, fans, control panels, and other HVAC components
∙ Replace defective parts such as compressors, capacitors, contactors, motors, and thermostats
∙ Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and inspection checklists
∙ Ensure compliance with Company HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safe work practices
∙ Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete maintenance and installation activities efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

∙ ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering
∙ 5–6 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician in construction, commercial, or industrial facilities
∙ GCC/UAE experience is preferred
∙ Good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and troubleshooting techniques
∙ Ability to read HVAC drawings and electrical schematics
∙ Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and HVAC testing equipment
∙ Knowledge of refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards
∙ Physically fit and able to work at heights and in outdoor environments when required

SALARY & BENEFITS

∙ Total Salary: AED 2,300 – 2,600 per month (based on experience)
∙ Overtime: Applicable as per UAE Labour Law
