Draftsman- Aluminum - Basic Job Responsibilities-

• Thorough study and knowledge of scope of work before generating shop drawings.
• Preparation of shop drawings (elevations, plans, sections, details and layout drawings), aluminum fabrication drawings.
• Drawing Details to be discussed and verified internally prior to generating shop drawings
• Preparation of Aluminum cutting list, Curtain wall & glass fabrication cutting list
• Prepare material take off (MTO) & raise material request sheet (MRS) when required
• Preparation of As-Built drawings
• Knowledge in aluminum system like Technal, Gulf Extrusions, Reynears, Arexal,Smart, Napco, Arabian etc.
• Consultant comments on shop drawings and transmittals to be carefully studied and scope related comments to be highlighted to the line  manager before commencing shop drawings revision.
• Shop drawings shall be carefully reviewed prior to submission to avoid variance with scope or consultant comments.
• Perform quantity take off when required to assist estimation, site & procurement teams
• Technical communications with structural designer and suppliers,
• In every project. Complete and clear shop drawings schedule shall be maintained and updated with every revision.

- Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years with design and drafting within the construction industry

- Qualification : Diploma or Equivalent 

- Skills: Candidates should possess very good knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Salary range -  Salary will be paid based on Experience skills and interview assessment . If candidates having gulf experience salary will be negotiable based on their experience and skills
