Educational Qualification      : BE/DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Experience                          :  6+ Years

Roles & Responsibilities           :

1. Can Perform electrical tests on electric motors, including AC motors (LT&HT), DC motors, generator, submergible pump motors etc. Submit testing/ inspection report with findings and recommendation. Preparation of repair Procedure/ method statement.
2. Identify and troubleshoot issues with rotating electrical equipment’s, to find the most effective method of repair of electrical equipment’s i.e. motors, transformers, generators.
3. Support and coordinate technician/fitters to disassemble electrical equipment’s/motors and check the condition of motor parts, submit the report to the In-charge/HOD with recommendation of repair and list of parts to be repaired /replacement of spares like bearings, seals, thermistor, carbon brush, holder, slip-ring, etc
4. Coordinate and inspect the mechanical repair activities like metalizing, welding and balancing as per standard procedure
5. Support, coordinate and monitor the winders for rewinding process/ upgradation of motor capacity. Monitor and ensuring the proper documentation data like winding diagram, slots, wire gauge, weight and connection etc.
6. Support and train the technicians reassemble motors and testing as per Internation standards EASA/IEC
7. Show ability and competently use star/delta control wiring and configuring variable speed drives, and other control components.
8. Can handle and operate, all the motor testing methods and all the testing equipment’s.
9. Can handle and conduct block rotor test, no load trail test, HV test, growler test, winding comparison test. Good Knowledge in EASA AR100-2020 Standard
10. Coordinate and complete statutory compliance like calibration of measurement instruments and testing equipment’s.
11. Install and commissioning of motors on customer sites and submission of reports to the client, whenever required.
12. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining smooth communication with customers, answering questions, and providing advice on motor maintenance and repair
13. Can handle and troubleshoot electrical panels, test benches and commissioning of new machines
14. QA/QC all documentation as per ISO standard and preparation and submission of all reports, method statement for repair and rewinding
15. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, including parts used and work performed.
16. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Skills:

1. Strong understanding of AC and DC motors, Transformer and Generators
2. Excellent knowledge in IEC/EASA standards & 5S
3. Good experience in Electromechanical repair workshop operations
4. Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and condition monitoring of motors like vibration, temperature, thermography etc.
5. Excellent knowledge in handling all precision measurement tools like bore gauge, slip gauge micrometres & vernier etc  
6. Experience working with a variety of tools and equipment, including electrical testing equipment
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Willingness to learn new technology and methods related to electrical rotating machinery
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
