MDI/Welding / Painting/Coating Inspector (Oil & Gas) 

Qualification & experience:

1. Shall be a Graduate Engineer/Diploma in Mechanical/ Metallurgical/ relevant discipline.

2. Shall have minimum of *8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas facility construction/ Pipeline construction.

3. Welding Inspector shall possess CSWIP 3.1 / AWS for welding inspection or equivalent and Certified to ASNT level II/PCN in RT, PT, MT and UT techniques.

4. Painting Inspector shall possess BGAS level2 / ERS III or equivalent in NACE (lev II) for painting inspection or equivalent.

5. Multi Discipline Inspector shall possess certification  both above 3 and 4.

6. Certification as Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015 / equivalent QMS (IRCA Registered or equivalent QMS) shall be preferred.

7. Knowledge on welding codes/ construction codes/ material specifications- (For welding Inspector)

8. Knowledge on painting/coating codes/ specifications/ material specifications- (For Painting Inspector)

Duties & Responsibilities (minimum)

1. Implementation of QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP /ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other contract documents.

2. Maintaining of Quality records & preparation of Hand over package/ dossiers.

3. Liaison with Client representatives on matters related to Quality.

4. Maintaining records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.

5. Witness procedures, tests and certify the results.

6. Assists in Auditing - internal and external, and follow up of Corrective Actions (internal & external).

7. Reporting Quality activities, monitor performance indicators.

8. Provide sufficient feed back to QA/QC Engineer on the day to day quality issues.
