Planning Engineer (Experienced in Water Pipeline & Sewerage Projects)

Job Summary:

Currently our client in Oman is seeking experienced Planning Engineers  with mixed experience of Pipeline- Water, Sewerage and Building Experience. The Candidate will be responsible for an overall project assigned. T

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and submits master program of the project in consultation with the Planning Manager & Project manager.
• Update approved program (weekly basis) after coordination with project manager and site quantity.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager the effective implementation and monitoring of look ahead-schedule including the project actual accomplishments.
• Reports to the Planning Manager & Project Manager the status of project progress against the plan schedule and Provides corrective actions necessary if the planned schedule is not achieved.
• Preparation of project cash flow.
• Updating progress of work using approved software (PRIMAVERA).
• Preparation of short-term detailed schedule based on baseline schedule.
• Understand WBS structure, and work with management and project team in the development of work break down structure for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control.
• Prepare cost estimation and schedule bar chart plan considering all in puts (manpower, equipment’s and materials) availability, production and construction sequences..

Education & Experience requirements:

• Bachelors or B.Tech (Civil Engineering).
• NICMAR pass out an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Water Pipeline & Sewerage Project.
• Oman experience is mandatory.
