Roles and Responsibilities

This position is for Forman Electrical, project schedule, safety as well as ensuring that the site work progress and coordination with other services and MEP Works.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade.
• 08 to 10 yrs. (GCC Experience Minimum 06 yrs.) in Hospital Building Projects & Commercial & Residential Buildings Projects.
• Age should be 30-40 & Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
• Awareness and implementation of Quality Objectives related to area of work.
• Inspecting and testing electrical equipment to ensure that it is safe and operating correctly, including light fixtures, smoke detectors, fire alarms, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and grounding systems.
• Supervising work crews in the installation, repair, or maintenance of electrical systems, including installation of electrical wiring, conduits, transformers, lighting, switches, breakers, fuses, power lines, junction boxes, etc.
• Coordinating the work of other contractors on site who are not directly involved in the electrical work.
• Ensure through proper supervision that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with requirements.
• Co-ordinate with stores for receipt/handling/storage/issue of materials on site.
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
• Determining the cause of electrical problems and recommending solutions to repair them.
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials.
