Roles and Responsibilities

This position is for project Electrical Engineer Supervision and installation of LT, HT, ELV electrical works within budget, quality, and safety, as well as ensuring that the site work progress and coordination with other services.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
• Minimum 6-8 years GCC Experience in Commercial, Residential Buildings Projects and Hospital Building Projects.
• GCC Driving License will be preferable.
• Supervise all Electrical work to ensure that the work at the site is executed to the project's specifications, approved drawing and in line with quality and standards.
• Keep clients and consultant informed about the progress of electrical work. addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and in compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards. This includes supervising the work of electricians and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules for electrical work, ensuring that electrical installations are completed on time and within the overall project timeline.
• Collaborate closely with other construction professionals, such as civil and mechanical engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with the overall building design.
• Maintain detailed records, including electrical drawings, plans, specifications, and progress reports. Ensure that as-built drawings accurately reflect the final electrical installations.
• Responsible to raise all the Material requirement, All the Material request to be prepared in adherence with procurement schedule and Construction program. All Material Request to be in line with Material approval.
• Responsible for all Kinds of Inspection at site such as Material inspection, Work Inspection, Routine Tests, Testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of electrical installations to ensure they meet the project's standards and specifications. Identify and rectify any deficiencies or issues promptly.
• End to end responsibility for project implementation including quality and safety in commissioning activities.
• Familiar with all types of Materials which is using in construction Industry such as conduits, trays, trunking, wires, cables & Wiring accessories, 11 KV cable, termination kit, fire alarm cable, ELV cable, wiring accessories, dimmers, isolators, light fixtures, bus duct, DB, panel, Transformer, UPS, Central Battery System Generator, Earthing material, circuit breaker used in LT & HT works. and familiar with work sequence followed.
• Stay current with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant codes and safety guidelines.
• Able to read, interpret electrical layout and schematic drawings.
• Familiar with tools used for LT, HT & ELV electrical works.
• Desired to be familiar with the testing & Commissioning requirement and procedures for LT, HT & ELV electrical system.
