Job Title: AUTOMATION IC TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION OF AUTOMATION IC TECHNICIAN

• Technician shall have a minimum education of diploma or degree in Engineering, Science or Technical area of Electrical and Instrumentation Control.
• Technician shall have a minimum experience of at least Five (5) years of field experience in CNC, PLC, Electronic, petrochemical, oil refinery and ship repair facilities.
• Technician shall have an experience with make Siemens, Fanuc, or similar Manufacturer for maintenance of CNC/PLC/Electronics PCB Systems or Equivalent.
• Technician shall have a minimum knowledge of PTW systems, site safety requirements.
• Technician shall have advance level interventions, Ability with Microsoft Office, and other data base software.
• Technician shall be able to quickly learn new software applications used by company, must be able to read and understand P&ID’s, Loop drawings, location drawing and other technical documentations.
• Technician shall be able to prove commitment to compliance with applicable local laws and regulations, an unwavering commitment to safety and health and other company policies and procedures.
• Technician shall have high ethical standards showed by their approach to team leadership and management.
• Technician shall have effective, complete, easily understood written communications and reports. Ability in the care and use of all sites specific, facility and required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Must show ability to work in a team environment and willingness to accept added or new responsibilities readily.
• Technician shall have an Effective communication (English written, verbal and listening) and people skills, Able to read and interpret technical procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Technician shall be able to effectively interact with and develop and keep strong rapport and credibility with senior management in company and client organizations.
• Technician shall report all types of system abnormalities to direct supervisor.
• Technician shall fill up all required site forms for yard equipment’s, monitor, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Technician shall have a good knowledge and understanding of standard and procedure of Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment’s.
• Technician shall be able to analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently. Technician shall be able to rectify the communication issues with CNCs / PLCs / PCBs
• Technician shall be able to develop written test procedures to perform operation, monitor, Preventive, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance.
• Technician shall Lead investigations of workshop equipment’s related issues, including root cause analysis as needed.
• Technician shall be able to calibrate & perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor-based Devices.
• Technician shall have experience in installing, maintenance, testing, or repairing new equipment’s.
• Technician shall be able to read and fully understand schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams and catch mistakes and problems with the drawings and design when comparing with available drawing.
• Technician shall have knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and Engineering theory.
• Technician shall Coordinate all the activities at site, direct supervisor shall coordinate all the site works through the Technician.
• Technician shall coordinate with company for gate pass, leave, transport, accommodation, Food, and shift schedule.
• Technician shall take part in and complete all training sessions, safety classes, pre-shift meetings, Toolbox Talk at site on every shift at site.
